or fetch it from the post office sorting office? Hopefully not,
but at Countrybookshop.co.uk we want to make your shopping experience
as easy as possible. We are now providing the Collectpoint
service as a delivery option to ensure you don't have any problems
receiving your goods. |
Collectpoint
is also an excellent option if you are ordering goods that you don't
want to be delivered to your home address - maybe a present that you
want to give as a surprise!
If you have not used the service before please read the details below. Please note that there is a small fee of £2 for using the service.
The Collectpoint service allows you to choose a location, such as a newsagents, where your parcel will be delivered instead of your home address. You can then collect your goods from your chosen location at a time that is convenient to yourself - ideal for busy people who are seldom at home when the mail arrives.
To use the Collectpoint service is very simple, just follow these steps:
- Order your books in the normal way
- Use the secure server when buying your books
- When you are filling out your payment details, tick the Use Collectpoint box in the delivery address column
- Enter the rest of your payment details and then click on the ReviewOrder button at the bottom of the page

If you have entered your details properly, you will see a review of your order. If these details are correct, you should have 2 choices:
- Send Order - If you click this button, you will be able to view a selection of Collectpoints that are close to your billing address.
- Locate Site - If you click this button, you will be taken to a screen that will allow you to do a search for Collectiopoints close to a postcode or town that is different to your billing address.
- If you have selected the Send Order button, you will see a list of Collectpoints that are close to your billing address. To view the details of each Collectpoint, just click on the details link on the right sideof them. To select to use a Collectpoint, click on the Go button on the left side of them. Once you click the go button, your order will be completed.

If you select to locate a different site, you will need to enter either a town / city or a post code into one of the boxes. If you enter a post code, you will be taken to a list that is similar to the one above and you should click on the Go button next to the Collectpoint you want to use.
If you enter a town / city, you will be taken to a page that has a drop down menu on it. You will need to select the location that is closest to your desired pick up point and then press Go button. This will then take you to the list of Collectpoints as described above. Click on th Go button next to the one that you want to use and your order will be complete.
You will be notified by email when your order has been dispatched so your item(s) should be ready for pickup within a couple of days. They will be held for you for up to three weeks. In order to collect your goods you must have the following:
- Your order number
- A form of signature ID i.e. Drivers Licence, Passport
Unfortunately your goods will not be released without both of the above.
